This is my first time to ever do a filet crochet project and to follow a chart rather than written instructions!
I found this pattern on-line (for purchase here) and was hooked by the "quilt like look" of the stars in the center.
This doily is available for purchase in my Etsy shop, and I've already started another one in a different thread weight!

Oh my that is gorgeous, my girlfriend makes these and they are just lovely, I haven't tried it myself, I do very basic crocheting. The candle show it off nicely!
