Scripture Printables

Remember the post I did about "snail mail tuck-ins?"
One of the things I like to include in my cards is a small Scripture card.
Instead of buying them, I look for pretty printables on-line and add my own appropriate verses to them.
The set above is made from some Mason Jar Freebies (now unavailable) from U Printables.
(I asked Rebecca if i could post them and she kindly gave permission)
I also made some using Mason Jars from Sweetly Scrapped

These are all for PERSONAL USE ONLY -
not be copied or sold in any form.
If you'd like more you can check
 out my Scripture Freebies page.

For free printables to make your own --

ENJOY!

Teddy Bear Cards

There have been quite a few kids to send cards to through
Shelter: Postmarked
these past few weeks.
I thought these fun little bear cards would brighten their day and maybe put a smile on the face of a child going through a tough time!
You can make the face with or without swirls - either way is cute!
Here's the supplies I used:

Elephant Cards

As soon as I saw the adorable elephant card by Just Imagine on Pinterest I knew I needed to make some to send to kids in the Shelter: Postmarked Ministry!
I actually made five of them in different colors.
I copied  their idea of making the elephant out of book pages -- isn't he cute?
I just love his adorable little hat and balloon.

Supplies and Tools: Elephant template, dictionary pages, colored/white cardstock, misc. designer paper scraps, bakers twine, sharpie marker, large polka dot embossing folder, corner rounder punch

Crochet Flower Bookmarks

I listed some Jumbo Paper Clip Bookmarks in the shop on Friday.
Each bookmark has a handmade crocheted flower on the top made using
There are two styles and quite a few colors to choose from.
They're perfect for bookmarks, journals, notebooks, school books, office use etc.
I plan to include these in some of my

Thinking of You!

Sharing a "Thinking of You" card I made using Tim Holtz's Tattered Florals die (one of my favorites!!).
I usually add a line of faux stitching around things that need a little extra pop - but this time I opted for the hand-drawn doodle line.
Love how fast and easy this was to whip up!

Supplies and tools: Tattered florals die (Tim Holtz), Labels 10 (Spellbinders), Buttons, Thinking of you stamp, Buttons, Sharpie marker, Brown ink

Crocheted Baby Headband Set

I made this soft baby headband as a gift for a little niece due to arrive sometime this month!
The flower is removable with a clip on the back so you can match babies outfit or use the flowers by themselves.
The flowers  were based on this pattern from:

You can find the free pattern for the headband on:

I love that she has measurements for several different sizes -- I'll be making bigger ones as baby Ava grows!

Crocheted Basket

I made this little crocheted basket as part of a welcome gift for a sweet friend coming to visit for a few days!
It's fairly quick and easy to whip up - I had this one completed in less than a day.
I thought it would make a nice addition to a dresser or bathroom with beauty supplies inside.
You can find the free pattern here
(Note: I added an extra row of crochet to the lighter part and the big flower)
